Kenya played the host role during the 5th Edition of the Diaspora Africa Conference this July 2025 under the theme, “BEYOND BORDERS : Uniting the Diaspora for Africa’s Investment” . The event held in the capital Nairobi saw delegates representing different African nations present alongside numerous global champions at the one of a kind conference.
Optiven Limited was part of the sponsors of the event with the Optiven Group CEO Dr. George Wachiuri leading a team of top managers and marketers at the three day event. Dr. Wachiuri while speaking to the organizer Ambassador Eze, on the sidelines of the conference, noted that, “as Optiven we welcome diaspora to invest in Africa as the company works to empower diasporians in Africa and the globe in general.

According to Dr. Wachiuri, the Optiven team in charge of the United States of America will be partnering for the 6th edition of the Diaspora Africa Conference that will be held in Texas, USA in February 2026.
He made the remarks shortly after arriving in the country from Botswana even as Optiven teams continue empowering investors globally with diaspora trips ongoing in Africa, Asia, Australia, Americas, and in Europe. The event was held at the prestigious Global Trade Center from 7th August 2025 to 9th August 2025.
The conference was characterised by a myriad fireside chats and panel discussion all geared towards sharing experiences, information and solutions to impact Africans in the diaspora.
