Optiven Limited joined in celebrating the invaluable contributions of our staff across the different departments as we marked the World Labor Day 2024. This special day was a reminder of the dignity of labor and the importance of fair working conditions aligning with our objective of 30,000 job opportunities by 2030.

Sustainable Development Goal 8 highlights provision of equal and inclusive working environment through diversification and we have been recognized in various Top employer awards including Corporate Career Awards 2023.

Through provision of staff empowerment programs including the Opal Personal Skills Training program, bi-annual team building sessions and the engaging monthly trainings, we have improved team work and collaboration enhancing collaboration.

We are intentional in supporting and inclusive work environment where every Optiven staff fells valued, respected and empowered to reach their full potential,” Associate Director Human Resource Martin Waweru commented. The George Wachiuri School of Mentorship is also actively contributing in creation of more job opportunities through its tailored mentorship program and influence of Dr. George Wachiuri.

By equipping individuals with necessary skills and knowledge, the program directly supports growth of small businesses contributing to positive impact in the society. Additionally, the interaction with the Optiven processes offers practical knowledge and exposure inspiring the mentees to establish and expend their ventures.
