Optiven Limited has been feted today for its efforts in promoting property ownership through its engagement in real estate. The award which was bestowed at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Nairobi’s Upperhill suburb is in recognition of the model adopted by Optiven Limited that affords it’s investors an opportunity to invest at their comfort and pace.

The award was received by the Deputy General Manager at Optiven Group, Mr. Lawrence Kesesi who was accompanied by associates from the company including departmental representatives from Public Relations, Sales and Finance Departments. Optiven Limited which has been at the forefront in social economic transformation, adapted the model in order to meet it’s vision and mission to the public. With over 20 years experience, the company has been involved with the selling of transformed plots, which are particularly enhanced to suit immediate residential settlement, commercial purposes and futuristic capital gain.

The award was in recognition of the role played by Optiven Limited in provision of flexible payments among land agents with the company being the overall winner in the category. Wachiuri added that there has been a tremendous uptake of projects within the Optiven Limited portfolio following the introduction of the model that allows customers to pay for their properties in a manageable pattern.

He says, ‘we have different projects that have been designed to cater for the different economic classes with focus being to give as many Kenyans as possible the opportunity to be land owners. As is custom with all our projects, we do not sell land but ready to settle property which is within reach of a majority of our customers and which is fitted with numerous value additions depending on the launch package.

The financial inclusion award brings to fourteen the number of awards that Optiven Limited has won. The company now in its 20th year of service continues in it’s vision and mission realization as it has sold out at least 50 projects, issued out over 6,000 title deeds to property owners, and with a growing list of customers who now stand at 10,000.
