The Optiven Africa team made inroads into the Ugandan market this September 2026. Led by the Optiven Group Chief Executive Officer Dr. George Wachiuri, the team were in the Pearl of Africa to engage investors to invest in Kenya while at the same time sharing insights on the developments around the Optiven projects located in 10 counties across the country.
During the Uganda September diaspora tour the Optiven team also had an opportunity to partner with investors and the Kenyan community in Uganda for the official launch of Business Network Uganda that culminated in a powerful business conference. Speaking from the Ugandan Capital Kampala, Dr. Wachiuri said, “the diaspora trip in Uganda was an excellent opportunity for us to meet our investors.
From high-level discussions on regional investment to meaningful connections with visionary entrepreneurs, this engagement highlighted the endless opportunities across East Africa. The region is a key player in the Optiven strategy as we seek to actualize our vision of offering value to our stakeholders.”
The Optiven team also hosted the Kenyan Ambassador to Uganda, His Excellency Ababu Namwamba and leaders of different organizations in Uganda.
