Optiven is Investing in Spaces Where Children Play to Flourish

As you may be aware, Optiven adheres to the global goals under the UN SDGs seeing that as a company we are global in nature and therefore accountable to our stakeholders worldwide. It is this reality that made me excited to engage in a research on play as part of community planning as we participate in the World Day of Play 2026 under the theme “Protect play, protect childhood“.

This core message serves as a global call to action for stakeholders including the real estate sector to ensure all children have the safe spaces and time needed to grow, learn, and thrive through play. Our vision of transforming lives goes beyond providing land and housing solutions. Through family-friendly developments, green spaces, community amenities, and environmental conservation initiatives, we strive to create communities where children can play, learn, interact, and thrive.

At Optiven, we understand that thriving communities are built with people at the center, especially children as they hold the key to the future literally. As we commemorate The International Day for Play, we celebrate the importance of creating safe, inclusive, and sustainable environments that support children’s growth, wellbeing, and future success.

For example, through the Go Green Initiative, Optiven champions tree-planting and environmental restoration activities that contribute to healthier surroundings for present and future generations. These efforts not only enhance the beauty of our communities but also create cleaner, safer, and more sustainable spaces for children and families.
